This course is designed to provide the student with a general overview of both Electricity and Residential Wiring. It is taught as Electricity I to first year students and Electricity II to second and third year students. Both courses consist of classroom and shop instruction with emphasis placed on hands-on-work. Upon completion of this course students will be able to communicate electrical terminology, wire and install residential circuits and work as an electrician helper. After three years of this course students can apply for apprentice positions to an electrician journeyman.
