Sequoyah High School offers the students a chance to experience the basics of hair, nails, and skin care in our Cosmetology I class. Throughout this exciting program, students will learn shampooing, hairstyling & design, manicuring, pedicuring, artificial nails, facials, waxing, haircutting & hair color. The program also teaches life skills, on the job skills, communicating for success, all necessary to help the students be their best self and to be successful in their careers.  The Cosmetology program offered through Sequoyah High School is part of the TCAT program (Tennessee College of Applied Technology) with Chattanooga State Technical Community College. Through this TCAT program, students will obtain hours earned at school that can be applied to reaching their goal of 1500 hours and passing the TN State Board of Cosmetology examination.
